Fine Quality Bronze Carthorse & Dog c1890

A fine quality heavy bronze figure c1890 of a carthorse with tack being barked at by a dog.

The horse has a dark brown patina whereas the dog and base is slightly more green.

The base was probably on a wooden or marble plinth once, as there are two retaining screw holes.

The bronze is not signed, but is high quality with good detailing.
