An amusing India ink study "Creeping Sloth" by the famous Newlyn School artist Charles Walter Simpson.

Born in Camberley 1885, he moved to Cornwall in 1905. After a year in St. Ives, he moved to Newlyn. A friend of Proctor, Laura Knight and Munnings, he exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy. He died in 1971.
