WWII German Army Training Grenade

A WWII original German Army Training stick grenade.

These were made to have the feel of an original and were used to practice throwing them.

The grenade consists of what appears to be a beech wood handle with a steel ring on the explosive end to add the weight. There are also remnants of red paint on part of the wood, probably to show it wasn't live.

The grenade shows a fair bit of wear and 3 were purchased with some general kit. A scarce item.
