WWII German Single Decal Army Helmet M42

A genuine WWII German Single Decal Army helmet (model 42) in good reasonable condition complete with late war fibre liner.

The decal is worn but clearly visible and has proved difficult to take off as per the 1943 regulations for the original owner.

The reason for trying to take the decals off was because it was deemed to visible and a target for enemy snipers. Therefore helmets with their original decals are quite scarce.

The helmet has what appears to be 34 and 3050 stamped on the inside rear edge.

The liner appears to be pressed felt. No chin strap. Size approx 57.
