WWII Luftwaffe General's Peaked Cap

A original World War Two German Luftwaffe (airforce) General's peaked cap, in good condition. The cap is in dark grey-blue moleskin material which is piped in 3 gold woven cords (top cord is thicker than the middle and bottom one).

The insignia is gold bullion hand embroidered, also the cap has its gold chin cords. The inside is lined in yellow gold silk material which shows extensive user's wear. The leather sweat band is torn at the back and missing its celluloid diamond shaped inside the crown of the hat. Because of this, and the fact that the leather band does not have any details, means we do not know the maker, despite the fact that it is obviously good quality. There is what appears to be the owner's initials K.H.

The cap has a nice shape, and look, and is in a large size of around 59.
